Door handle by Nikkor 55mm f1.2 Ais

This lens has been in my possession for quite some time. I did not really like it comparing to A 50mm f1.2However, the construction of this lens is superb.

It feels like a knot in the toilet drain with a large wheel on it. It feels solid Here is a dull shot revealing its fake smeared colour and flat look

Wide open of course f1.2

Big Breakfast by Voigtlander Nokton 58mm f1.4 SL II

Recently I am in love with big breakfast. The most expensive item on most breakfast menu.

This one was rather small. But it was cooked with a lot of spice and skill. A wonderful meal.

See that this lens provides a nice soft background bokeh. The kind of breakfast atmosphere I like to have :)

Perfurme glass by Pentax A 50mm f1.2

This perfume glass has interesting colour. A wide manual focus 50mm f1.2 can blurr the background in a non-harsh fashion to render the background dreamy swirly feel.
This lens is known for severe purple fringeing. However, this is not really a problem for this particular image :)

In Love by Canon EF 50mm f1.2 L

Again, Canon EF 50mm f1.2 L swiftly and effortlessly helps me to capture this image. They were french kissing each other and I was basicly less than 1 metre away from them. Yes, they did notice that I was photographying them. However, I do not need to manual focus the couple with my fingers. So the image was completed with ease...

Scared of Photographers by Canon EF 50mm f1.2 L

These two ladies were walking slowly til they spotted Voe and me wagging our cameras at them. They sped up the walking pace towards us in a haste.

My canon EF 50mm f1.2 L is focusing fast and tracking on the lady closer to the camera while she was approaching us.

Money Bags by Olympus 50mm f2 macro

Chinese new year just passed. Eating some money bags could potentially boost my fortune in 2009.

With Olympus 50mm f2 macro really can do 1:1 macro and the depth of field is very nice in deed. There is a bit of roe on the top of the dumpling at front. The roe is the focus point where its red colour indicates fortune at the peak of money bag which is full of juicy stuffings. Roe is the beginning of a life form and revealing a sense of a new start as well.

Happy Chinese New Year!
