Paella by Olympus ZD 50mm f2 macro

A beautiful meal pre christmas. The dish cost me 38 AU Dollars! Quite dear for scanty food.

However, it was a pleasant day spending my cash.

The bokeh from olympu 50mm f2 macro is a little harsh and this is the first time I spotted purple fringeing that I had to desaturate the image quite a bit.

Another great photo from you. I don't see any purple fringing, so you must have gotten it right.

Thanks Ratty. This is a great fun knowing that there is not much fringeing in it.

I actually rid off the Pf as much as I could

roentarre, I like the shot, but for the life of me I cannot figure out exactly what it is in the picture, i understand the title and I see the pan....But what is the vertical piece?

Mike, the pointed one is a piece of Italian Bread deep fried til it is very crispy. There is bugtail of lobster as well as clams inside that dish.

Looks very interesting, but I bet that's more because you're very good at photography and processing. Fried bread I don't find so appealing.
Wish you could have moved the bottle out of the background.

PS: Comments on your Oly blog don't work.

Oops, Thanks Dan. I need to check it out. Thanks for pointing it out!

Don't mind the bottle at all, would just have straightened it up.
But would have put a light burn over the white glare behind the chap on the right in the back ground so it did not take the eye away from the main subject
