Ghost lights by Pentax Da* 55mm f1.4

Pentax Da* 55mm f1.4 SDM is the hot lens for me at the moment. Though the lens is still not autofocusing that great on k20d. I am still using it as my walk around lens.
What I realise with this lens different from the rest of 50mm lenses I have used was its water proof feature. Over the past 2 weeks, I was basicly soaked in the rain shooting and glad that the images from this lens had yet failed me so far.
This image was taken inside a cafe whose food was quite terrible to taste. However, the lighting was quite mysterious. The cafe is off Colin St CBD Melbourne.

The shot reminds me a little of the hot air balloons Thais release during the festival of light.

I like it.

I like how the lights "float" on a black background.

Sometimes images come to my mind without any particular effort. This makes photography so much more fun :)

it's worth it to confront the bad taste of the food the cafe because the photo is successful!
