Refreshing water by Voigtlander Nokton 58mm f1.4 SL II

Long exposure using this wonderful lens. Now people are busy selling this lens on ebay. I just do not know why people are buying this lens in a rush without noticing the beauty of this prime.
1. It is very sharp. Crispy sharp with that "feel" of clarity when aperture is above f2.8
2. The colour is sooooo rich wide open. Even better than stopping down to f8
3. The foreground bokeh turns out less problematic than background bokeh but its ability to blurr in most situation is stunning.
4. This lens works like a treat at night. Very good colour rendition and sharpness.

That is incredible. It looks so soft. Strange how it still has such natrual beauty, while being seen in a way we would never see it without the camera.

Hehe

Many photog friends I know of dislike unnatural photographs like long exposure technique

It is just a style to increase a photographer's range :)

Great colors and clarity. The long exposure really "makes" this photograph the eye-catcher that it is.
