Door handle by Nikkor 55mm f1.2 Ais

This lens has been in my possession for quite some time. I did not really like it comparing to A 50mm f1.2However, the construction of this lens is superb.

It feels like a knot in the toilet drain with a large wheel on it. It feels solid Here is a dull shot revealing its fake smeared colour and flat look

Wide open of course f1.2

I know nothing about different lenses. I can use them with an upgrade to my camera, but I'm still just learning. Even so, I really like the colors you got with this. I also like the focus on the door handle, and that the background is blurred, but very colorful. The whole thing draws my eyes in and then to the right.

Brattcat, thanks for the visit!

Ratty, various 50mm do have their own unique image rendering ability.

Nikkor lens here has that strong flat colour that can be very interesting but lacking the micro contrast I would love. :)

Do you have any micro lenses Roentarre? Good shot by the way, dead on observance of the rule of thirds; splendid!

Just amazing, I love it. I'm not technical about my photography, yet. I could learn a lot from you.

PJ, you are too humble. I can learn from anyone out there and so as everyone else!
